Millimetric is the stage name of French electronic artist François-Xavier Michel, whose music blends techno rhythms, EBM basslines and new wave melodies. Originally from Marseille, he began making music at an early age, inspired by the emerging electronic scene of the ’80s and ’90s.

As a teenager, Millimetric immersed himself in electronic music culture, exploring futuristic and experimental sounds. Techno in particular captured his imagination and gave him an outlet for his ideas. By blending techno, EBM (electronic body music) and new wave, he developed a distinctive sound built on powerful basslines, dark melodies and driving rhythms.

Over the years, Millimetric has released albums and EPs on labels including Goodlife, Uwe, M-Tronic, Space Factory, Properproud, Blackfox Music and Nu Body records, and has produced more than sixty remixes. His tracks bring industrial sounds together with infectious electronic melodies. His appetite for exploring different styles has led to collaborations with artists including The Hacker, David Carretta, The Horrorist, Neon Judgement and T21.

Millimetric has opened for DAF and Front 242. He has performed in more than a hundred clubs and played festivals across Europe, both in his native France and abroad, including in Spain, Germany, Serbia, Ukraine, Russia and Scotland. He has also performed in Sweden, Estonia, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy and Romania. His live sets are known for the energy and intensity with which they draw audiences into his music.

His work has left its mark on the underground scene in France and beyond. His dedication to creating an immersive musical experience continues to inspire electronic music fans around the world.
